Italian pasta with a different twist

Pizza slices and spaghetti wisps most likely start flying through your mind when you think about the Italian kitchen.
That’s not strange at all since they are the two most well-known recipes from Bella Italia.
Most people often tent to eat the most popular Italian recipes like a pasta bolognese or carbonara, which is actually such a shame since the Italian kitchen has so much more to offer. We jumped into the kitchen for an Italian pasta with an Italian twist.

Ingredients

  • 1 hand (vegetarian) sliced chicken pieces
  • 2 hands whole wheat pasta
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • ½ plate fresh spinach
  • 8 green olives
  • 1 hand pinenuts
  • Olive oil, pepper, and salt

Preparations

Prepare the pasta according to the instructions of the package.
Cut the olives in half and roast the pine nuts in a frying pan until they turn golden-brown.

Chop the onion and the garlic and wok them in a dash of olive oil together with the chicken pieces. Add the spinach and cook at a high temperature. Season with some pepper and salt and fry for about 3 minutes.

Drain the pasta, mix it with the vegetables and plate it. Pour a dash of olive oil over it, season with some pepper and salt and serve with the olives and pine nuts.
